We support all environmentally conscious initiatives
We are FSC® certified (Forest Stewardship Council®) and therefore we can provide a chain of custody for all FSC certified timber when required (FSC®C007915).

We can deliver beading for any size or shaped vision panel
Not only can we supply the more traditional and popular shaped bead frames (circular glazing bead frames / semi circular glazing bead frames ("D" shaped) and ladder frame glazing beads, but we can also supply almost any reasonable shape that you specify

We offer any glazing bead section design to suit your specification
The most popular Cattles bead sections include standard, splayed and rebated, and flush quirk beads

All our glazing beads meet FD30 and FD60 rating when used with appropriate door construction and glazing system.

Our bead frames are designed to resist shrinkage or movement
To ensure you receive the quality synonymous with Cattles we hand finish each joint with a strong jointing system, which will withstand normal handling and fixing on site or in the factory. The timbers we use have been kiln dried to prevent shrinkage. Most timbers are kiln dried to 8-10% moisture content, although for special applications lower moisture content can be achieved.

A choice of finishes is available
You can select a bead surface which has either been:-

• clear lacquered with two coats of lacquer
• white primed ready for painting
• sanded to a fine finish suitable for polishing

We offer Designer Bead Frames
In addition to the more traditional finishes we at Cattles are able to offer architects and interior designers a special bespoke service with our Designer Bead Frames using exotic woods, wood inlay designs and marquetry techniques

Health & Safety standards met
We are more than aware of the stringent requirements that door manufacturers have to meet for security and safety glazing and therefore adopt the necessary quality standards in our glazing bead frames.
